The grids are well made and look to have adequate load bearing strength for my project. However, because the base I need is hexagonal there’s a huge over purchase and awkward installation - because the sections only fit together in squared patterns! A little more thought to the position of the connecting lugs would have allowed overlapping the joints (which might also have added to the strength of the assembly) but they won’t match! For the purpose of stabilisation they’re fine but for linking they’re not so good relying entirely on the lugs.

I ordered 20 plastic shed base grids; the cost was very competitive with fast delivery. I haven’t started to lay them yet but they feel sturdy and look fit for purpose. I’m not expecting to find any issues with them. I would recommend this site; they use recycled plastic which was an important factor in my choice of company.

Bought 120 grids as a base for large log cabin. Once the sub base and membrane were laid the install went great, 120 grids and two tonnes of pea shingle and it was ready for the cabin, much quicker and cheaper than concrete

I had a concrete base but wanted to get the shed bearers off of it because of water pooling. The Plastic Shed Base Grids are easy to assemble and you just fill them with 10mm stones to create a very solid draining base. The sizing is spot on (some reviews of other makes said they were smaller than advertised). It also helps when lining up the shed as you now have a grid pattern to work from. I spent a bit of extra time and money getting the base right - but the end result was well worth it.

I ordered these and was given a delivery date, sp lanned my week accordingly so that I would be in on the advised day, Great. EXCEPT that the delivery arrived three days earlier and it was only by good fortune that I had left to go out, otherwise there would have been no one to receive these. In use I found these to be easy to work with, but the key really is a level ground to put them on, as these will follow the contours. I raked a shallow layer of gravel over the ground (which was very sticky clay and impossible to level sufficiently) then laid the grids on this, checking levels as I went followed by filling all with gravel as well as about 25-30 cm beyond the grids. All seemed good until I started building my shed when I realised there were still some dips which needed infill. All good now. Are they as easy as one would hope for, well not on wet sticky clay is my answer. Hoever it does seem after 4 weeks to be a stable and soild base. I guess time will tell. Also found these make a good temporary walkway to stop the lawn turning to mud!

I had quite an uneven base of paving stones when I removed my old summerhouse. I levelled them up and installed a plastic shed base grid on top. A great product that was actually a joy to install and looks the part when finished. Really easy to click together and very satisfying to fill with pea gravel. Would definitely recommend

This is the second time I have used grids/tiles to raise the timber floor frame of my sheds off the ground. They are a great idea and I had no issue using Ibran grids on this occasion. Easy to cut down to size to suit the 4.2m x 2.5m base size. I would recommend Ibran for their prompt service, delivery and for being a great idea.
